Principal's Message

Hello Pownal Elementary Families:

Each year of school brings many things and at PES we capture this in our Hopes & Dreams with staff, students, and families. As a school community, we strive to foster a safe, caring learning environment, instill a love of learning in all children at PES, and encourage all students to take risks and challenge themselves.

The bulletin board as you walk into PES celebrates learning with these five words: REFLECT, SOLVE, CREATE, GROW, and THINK. When these words are aligned literally and figuratively they spell LEARN!

Pownal Elementary is proud to offer a variety of learning opportunities inside and outside during the school day, as well as additional opportunities after school through teams and other opportunities.
